Presented Aliza Dichter

The subject will be: "The People Versus the FCC: Why the fight over ownership
rules got so big, what's next and what it means for our community."

Aliza Dichter, an educator and advocate who has been working on public-interest media policy, will lead a discussion about the ways communities are challenging the dominance of the media giants and demanding that regulation serve the public interest. Topics will include media concentration, community TV and radio, wireless spectrum rights and how to hold media accountable for their news coverage and service to the community.
