Chairperson, Daniel Schneider
Daniel H. Schneider is admitted to the New York and Georgia bars
and is a partner in the law firm of Schneider,
Pfahl, and Rahme, L.L.P. with offices in Manhattan and Woodstock.
He has been practicing commercial, corporate, technology and entertainment
law for more than 19 years. A graduate of Vassar College (AB, 1979,
Evans Fellow in Law) and Emory Law School (JD, 1982), Dan is a member
of the American Bar Association, Section of Dispute Resolution and
the New York State Dispute Resolution Association (Ethics and Standards
Committee). Dan serves on many non-profit and civic Boards and organizations,
including the America the Beautiful Fund (National Secretary), the
Creative Music Foundation, Woodstock Mediation and the Woodstock
Youth Theatre. Dan loves the Hudson Valley and wants to insure that
it remains a beautiful, sustainable region where people can work
and play, using the latest technology, in harmony with nature and
with each other.

Ric Dragon
Ric combines proven best practices with out-of-the-box thinking
and analysis and consistently delivers a high standard of excellence
within all the projects he's involved. Having been an exhibiting
painter for over twenty years, Ric has extended his artistic talents
to Web development since 1997, when he founded Oxclove
Workshop. applying his entrepreneurial vision to the shop's
daily challenges and long-term opportunities.
Vice President, Brad
Will, R.A.
is a registered architect in New York and California. He is principal
and owner of Ashokan
Architecture & Planning, PLLC (AAP), which was founded by
Peter Reynolds and merged to form the present company in January
2002. Prior to AAP, Mr. Will was a sole proprietor in the San Francisco
Bay Area, doing business under the
name of CADenza Architecture & Planning for a period
of six years.
During his time in California, which included time in
the San Diego
area, Mr. Will worked on a variety of projects - senior
living centers, new and remodeled single family homes,
office high rises, public schools and retail tenant
improvements. Mr. Will also performed CAD training for
small architectural firms. His professional degree in
Architecture was earned from Cornell University in 1984.
Mr. Will lives in Bearsville with his wife Pin Xu Will,
also an architect, and their two cats Roxie and Elsie.
He currently serves on the Woodstock Zoning Board of
Appeals and participates in non-profit ventures whenever
time allows. Both he and Pin are enthusiastic supporters
of live music and the arts.
Treasurer,Charlotte
W. Pfahl
Charlotte W. Pfahl received a B.A. cum laude from University
of Denver in 1973 and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School
in 1978. She also attended Oxford University, Oxford,
U.K., the N.Y.U. School of Law, LLM. in Taxation, and
the World Trade Institute. Ms. Pfahl specializes in
private client matters (wills, trusts, family limited
partnerships) and real estate law. She represents foreign
and domestic clients - including individuals, trusts,
partnerships and corporations in a number of jurisdictions
- on a broad range of domestic and transnational business
transactions, including organization of domestic and
off-shore entities and trusts, acquisitions of business
interests and property, buy-outs and financing, as well
as real estate matters, commercial and residential acquisitions,
and leasing. Her real estate-related clients include
cooperative corporations, developers, foreign banking
institutions, and private investors. Ms. Pfahl is admitted
to practice in the States of New York and Florida and
to the Bars of the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of
Claims, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern
District of New York. She is a member of the Financial
Women's Association and The International Alliance.

Cheryl
Schneider
Cheryl Schneider has 25 years of computer
and graphics technology experience and is the principal
of the Mac Works,
which is a Macintosh centric network and system services
organization founded in 1990 in NYC and relocated to
Ulster County in 1996. The Mac Works specializes in
networked Macintosh computer systems and Macintosh to-other-platform
integration and is a member of Apple Computer's Apple
Solution Experts (ASE) program. This business is a NYS-certified
Woman Owned Business Entity (WBE), and has completed
numerous Macintosh related projects with distinguished
corporations, small businesses, academic institutions,
and not-for-profit organizations. Ms. Schneider holds
a BS, cum laude, in Atmospheric Sciences from the State
University of New York at Albany. As an instructor at
The New School for Social Research for 5 years, she
developed and presented a series of one day technical
seminars. From 1992 to 1996 she taught Data-Tech Institute's
popular Macintosh Survival Course, Advanced Troubleshooting
of the Macintosh, and Networking the Macintosh seminars
nationally and internationally for MIS professionals.
She is a five time Macworld Expo Faculty alumnus and
a three time coordinator of the New York MacUsers' Group
(NYMUG) MacFair seminars. Her publishing credits include
author, 'Co-Existing with PCs', The Macintosh Bible,
6th Edition, Peachpit Press; Technology Editor, InFocus
Magazine; and technical editor, Macworld's Mac OS X
Bible, Hungry Minds/IDG.
Harv Hilowitz
Harv Hilowitz has been active in the mid-Hudson region
in a number of business attraction and I.T. business
sector initiatives. He is currently the Acting President
of Hudson Valley Technology & Commerce, Inc. Harv
is a licensed real estate agent working with the Upstate
Commercial Group in Kingston. Prior to this, he was
Vice President of TechCity in Kingston, involved in
the development of the former IBM facility there. Before
working at TechCity, Harv had a successful career as
a special education school administrator and teacher,
having earned a Masters Degree from Teachers College,
Columbia University, and advanced supervisory credentials
(SAS, SDA) from the CUNY Brooklyn College Graduate School.
A published author of a pocket book on the American
Revolution, he is an amateur historian with a B.A. in
archaeology from Hunter College and is a docent at the
Mount Gulian Historic site in Fishkill. Harv is active
as a coach of youth ice hockey teams, as well as girls'
youth soccer in his home town of Stone Ridge, where
he resides with his wife and children.
Carol B. Armitage
Carol has a BS degree from University of Delaware and
an MS degree from Princeton University, both in electrical
engineering, and approximately 20 years of industry
experience in the telecommunications industry. She worked
for about 17 years at Bell Labs/Lucent where her last
position was as a Director in the wideband access division
followed by 3 years at General Instrument (broadband
communications), where her last position was as Senior
VP of Technology and Strategy. Her strengths are in
executive management of product and technology design
and development, including VLSI, optics, circuit design,
software, and system integration.
Carol is currently on the Board of Directors of several
small high tech companies, including Telaxis, a wireless
broadband access product design and development company,
SCALA , a multi-media software development co, and LaSonRisa
Productions, a non-profit, documentary video production
co. She is also on the Advisory Board of several high
tech companies. She is a counselor at SCORE (Service
Corp of Retired Execs) counseling start-up companies,
and does occasional consulting for several start-up
companies involved in broadband communications (telecom
market) nation-wide.
Carol has lived in the Woodstock area full time for
the last
6 years, and enjoys coaching several small business
owners in the area.
She is also co-owner of a local S-corp with her husband
Steve.
Pamela Hastings
Pamela has a BS from Tufts University and expertise in product design
and illustration, business, and health care. She has a web based
business at www.pamelahastings.com,
and designs, teaches, and publishes her own books on varied topics
from paper dolls to hot flashes. She is becoming known around the
world as an artist and inspirational writer.
Carol
T. Savage
Carol Savage has over 25 years of management experience
in corporations and advertising agencies. She has structured
and implemented marketing programs, evaluated procedures
and streamlined operations. She worked for American
Express Company as Director of Corporate Communications.
At Citigroup, she held positions as Director of Marketing
and Communications for Citicorp Investment Services
and Citigroup Business Services, and she was Director
of Marketing for Citibank Worldwide Securities Services.
She recently took early retirement from Citigroup, and
has been a marketing consultant to American Express
Company, Chase Bank and JP MorganChase , and Roundabout
Theatre.
Carol Savage is on the Board of Governors of the Thomas
Cole National Historic Site in Catskill, New York, on
the Advisory Council of Hudson Valley Technology and
Commerce, on several committees at The Olana Partnership,
and on the Advisory Board of Hudson River Classics Showcase
Theatre in Hudson, New York. She is a member of the
Corporate Circle at Manhattan School of Music, and has
been Vice President on the Board of Directors at 165
West 66th Street Corporation for the past six years.
Carol attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs,
NY, has a BA inEducation from University of South Florida
and an MA in Marketing Communications from Hunter College
in NYC.
Carol enjoys skiing, golf and tennis. She also loves
boating on the Hudson River.
Mark Tourtellott
As a senior Web Designer for Mindseye Technology from
1999-2001, Mark Tourtellot helped companies like Hasbro
and Reebok translate their brands to the Web. Previously
he worked as an artist and conceptual illustrator for
Draper Lab, assisting with civilian and military engineering
R&D. Offline Mark has worked extensively in traditional
fine art and graphic design, even designing a two-story
mural for the new Jordan’s Furniture IMAX Theater.
Mark has a special interest in using art to help children
and adults with developmental disabilities, and has
served as a multimedia consultant for the Children’s
Hospital of Boston. He holds a BFA from the University
of Hartford.
